日本とトリニダード・トバゴをの交友関係60周年を記念して作られた楽曲OIDEYOは、トリニダード・トバゴのプロデューサーJus Now （ジャスナウ）and Dj Private Ryan（プライベートライアン）が楽曲制作とディレクションを務め、現地でも人気のアーティストLyrikal(リリカル）、そして日本からは10年以上トリニダード・トバゴの楽曲SOCAを歌っているAnn Gが参加しています。
「日本においでよ」そして「トリニダード・トバゴにおいでよ」とお互いの国に気軽に行き来できるような友好関係が一曲に詰まっています。
日本のSOCA WEEKNDも含め、今後両国が発展していけることを願っています。
The song OIDEYO, created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Trinidad & Tobago, was produced and directed by Trinidadian producers Jus Now and DJ Private Ryan. The track features Lyrikal, a popular artist from Trinidad & Tobago, and Ann G, a Japanese artist who has been performing Trinidadian soca music for over 10 years.
The song embodies the message “Come to Japan” and “Come to Trinidad & Tobago,” promoting a friendly relationship that encourages mutual visits and cultural exchange between the two nations.
We hope this collaboration, including events like Japan’s Soca Weekend, will further strengthen the ties and foster growth between both countries in the future.
